While we have set dates for our tours, these cater for individuals or couples who wish to join a tour group. However of you have a group of 5 or more we can run these tours on dates that suit you, so don’t feel constrained by the calendar if your club or group of friends can’t work around our calendar. And if you wants a different type of week, we can create that for you too.

Making the most of the region means we’re going to focus on more than just the riding, with a desire to bring you some amazing food and drink experiences, incredible accommodation and sometimes no accommodation other than the ground beneath you. And rivers to jump into.
Whilst the season for guiding would normally start in March, we have enquires regarding the weather in winter. And generally we have to say, “it’s probably better than where you are!” Typically quite cold in the morning, then warm enough by 11am to hit the tracks under blue skies, with plenty of opportunity to peel off gilets and arm-warmers. Expect 14-18c, and maybe some rain, but that’s just water that converts dusty trails into hero-dirt.
Dirty Weekender:
Four great rides to give you the perfect introduction to Girona gravel.
Starting on Friday evening we get a couple of hours riding around the gravel close to Girona before dinner together.
Saturday and Sunday are full day rides between 90 and 110 KM depending on the group, with awesome routes and perfect lunch stops.
Finally we get a last ride on Monday morning before you check-out and return home to dream of your next visit.
Accommodation is with our bike friendly hotel partners, and includes breakfast.

Girona Gravel - Best of six 2023
On this unique Girona based tour, you will be taken on Six distinct routes with various terrain and characteristics, then as a group select the one you want to go-big with on the 7th ride, preceded by a recovery/rest date to get you fresh. No one is disappointed with this format and we love hearing the discussions over which area to choose.
This week guarantees quality routes, quality lunch locations, dirty bikes and tired legs. Expect anything under your tyres from super-smooth fine gritty roads, gravel bike friendly singletrack and 15km gravel climbs. With the occasional farm track rougher than a boar’s backside.

Gourmet Gravel 2023
The Girona region is world-renowned for it's cuisine, with a multitude of Michelin starred restaurants in the area. And also exceptional locally produced wine, beer, and cider! Our Gourmet Gravel weeks involve a delicious combination of the finest gravel rides with lunch stops that make it hard to want to get back on the bike. From the vineyards of the Emporda, to seafood restaurants on the Costa Brava and Tavernas deep in the mountains, expect this week to tick all the food and drink boxes.
Did we mention beer and cider too? How about a BBQ in the countryside created by one of our friendly chefs? How about if the BBQ was on a beach with crystal clear water tempting you for a swim while your lunch is prepared?
These weeks are Girona based, using our accommodation partners, ensuring your evening meals can continue the theme of exceptional food in city restaurants and bars.

Not everyone has the opportunity or desire to spend Christmas with family and friends, so why not complete your annual 500km challenge in Girona, with Grit?
We promise not to ruin Christmas like your weird uncle or annoying in-laws while we guide you over 500km of incredible routes in the Girona region. We might not even mention Christmas, but for the sake of tradition part of the package is a fantastic group lunch on 25th December.
Think how much better the last week of the year will be without gift pressure, intrusive questions from relatives and awful TV? Instead, spend the week under blue sky*, riding some of the best gravel you’ll find anywhere, staying in a great bike-friendly hotel on the edge of Girona old town.
Our plan is to cover 60-90km per day showcasing the huge variety of terrain to be found in the Girona region, with great coffee and lunch stops to break up the days. Between 24th and 31st December you’ll achieve your 500km challenge, with optional extra km available for the dedicated.
The routes will not be technically demanding unless requested by the group, but you should possess adequate fitness to allow for 4-5 hours of riding on consecutive days, for a total of 500km in one week. The routes will offer you the opportunity to swim in the sea and rivers should you seek a cold water buzz.
